Located in the Murcia region of southern Spain and some 592m above sea level, the landscape around Cehegin boasts mountains, valleys, reservoirs & forests, and a lush and varied flora & fauna including olive groves, citrus & soft fruit orchards.

The area is a haven for walkers, the adventurous & those seeking tranquility. The nearby towns of Caravaca de la Cruz, Calaspara, Begastri, Moratalla and Mula are a must to visit whilst in the North West Murcia region, each offering its own interests and paths of history. All these towns and the Parque Natural de Sierra Espuna are an easy drive away and make a great day out when staying in Cehegin.
